If you do “soulpreneur” work in the world — coaching, healing, teaching, creating — and you've noticed that, sometimes, looking at your finances can bring up fog… tightness… or that urge to close the tab and come back "later"…

This course was made for you.

Most financial education was built for people who treat money as a purely logical exercise — spreadsheets, aggressive scaling, hustle-driven tactics.

Your nervous system knows that's not your path. And yet, the bills are real, the numbers matter, and you deserve to feel more steady when it comes to your financial life.

I created Healthy Money because I believe deeply that money sustains ministry. If your pricing depletes you, you will eventually burn out. If your cash flow is chaotic, it’s too easy to make fear-based decisions. Financial health isn't just the end goal — it is the sturdy foundation that allows your soulpreneur work to continue.

A bit about my journey:

I started my business with almost zero in savings, though I did gratefully have spousal support for the first year. Within that year, I built my business to a modest income. By the end of year two, it had become a thriving soulpreneur business.

Over the 16 years since, I've saved and invested to the point of financial independence. I'm now semi-retired, with my wife, in Mexico — and still working because I genuinely love serving my clients and students.

Since 2009, I've personally helped hundreds of soulpreneurs with business and money, and taught these topics to thousands more.

What I've learned is that the path to financial peace isn't dramatic. It's a series of small, grounded practices — repeated gently over time — that compound into long-term stability. That's what this course teaches.

What this course is — and isn't:

This course is not about becoming obsessed with money, using high-pressure sales tactics, pretending finances are purely a "mindset" issue, or chasing fantasy numbers.

This course is about learning to look at your numbers, regularly, with emotional steadiness. It's about building simple systems you'll actually use, making clean decisions about spending and pricing, and creating an investing habit that creates long-term security — so that your work can continue for as long as you want it to.

Three areas of growth run through everything we cover: mindset (how you think about money), emotional steadiness (how you stay grounded while working with it), and practical skill (how you actually manage the numbers).

What we'll explore together:

The course moves through five modules, each one building naturally on the last — from safety and grounding, through practical systems, all the way to long-term investing.

The course content will be improved & made more relevant to the students as we go through the course. Student questions and issues will be prioritized 🙏🏼 so therefore what follows is a tentative arc...

Module 1: Your Money Story & Core Numbers

We begin where it matters most: helping your body feel safe enough to look. You'll learn the Energy Reboot — a simple grounding practice you'll use every time you sit down with your finances. Then we'll calculate your two most important numbers: your Minimum Viable Month (what it actually costs to keep the lights on) and your Supported Monthly Number (what it takes to feel adequately resourced). You'll leave this module with a 15-minute Weekly Money Ritual — a calm, repeatable habit of honest contact with your financial reality. No spreadsheet required yet! Simply clarity.

Module 2: Rhythm & Reality — Tracking & Spending

Now that you're grounded, we set up the practical infrastructure. You'll choose a tracking system that fits your style — from a simple notes app to an automated spreadsheet — and build it into your weekly rhythm. You'll learn my unified decision framework for any financial choice: the HALT check (never decide when Hungry, Angry, Lonely, or Tired!), the Six Questions to ask before major purchases, and how to choose Personal Spending Rules that remove decision fatigue from your life. We'll also work with the Comparison Reset — a somatic tool for those moments when someone else's highlight reel makes your stomach clench. You'll learn to come back to the safety of your own data.

Module 3: Buckets & Structure — Saving & Building Runway

This is where money starts having a clear place to go. You'll set up the Four Buckets (Owner Pay, Operating Expenses, Taxes, and Runway), learn the Savings Sequence (exactly what to do with surplus, in priority order), and build toward a 3-to-6-month cash buffer using the Monthly Transfer Process. You'll also create a Pause List — pre-decisions for low-cash moments, written once and followed automatically — so that when things get tight, you don't have to think. You've already wisely decided.

Module 4: Earning & Value — Pricing & Growing Income

Here we turn toward the other side of the equation: growing what comes in. You'll learn Values-Aligned Pricing using a three-tier ladder. We reject "charge what you're worth" language entirely — pricing is about sustainability and perceived value, not your inherent worth. You'll also learn how to set clear, kind boundaries with clients (and yourself!) that feel like care rather than confrontation.

Module 5: Investing & Sustaining Your Future

Finally, we zoom out and plant your Retirement Tree. You'll learn why starting now matters far more than starting big — and how to set up a simple investing system using the Boglehead Philosophy (low-cost index funds that historically beat professional traders). We'll walk through the three lanes of investing: Safety, Core Long-Term, and Explore. And you'll build an ongoing monthly review practice so that your financial health keeps evolving alongside your business.

The deeper thread:

Throughout the course, you'll notice a philosophy woven through every module: your money situation is also your inner curriculum. Whatever you're facing right now, in your financial life, is rich material for your personal growth.

Inner work IS money work. As you tap into your own steadiness — creativity, faith, connection to your values — your need for reactive spending decreases. Every financial tool in this course is also a grounding tool!

We'll also connect your financial practice to the broader 5 Levels of Soulpreneur Growth — a framework I developed for building a sustainable business through seven core practices, of which Healthy Money is one. Understanding where you are in the levels helps you avoid the most common soulpreneur mistake: trying to do everything at once.

What you'll walk away with:

By the end of this course, you will have a grounding practice for every money session, a weekly ritual you genuinely look forward to, a tracking system that gives you calm visibility over your finances, a clear set of spending rules, four organized accounts (or bucket categories) with money flowing to each intentionally, a savings sequence and a growing runway, pricing that feels aligned and sustainable, a wise investing habit — however modest — that's steadily building your future, and a monthly review practice that keeps the whole system alive.

More importantly, you'll have a different felt experience around money. The fog will lift. The dread will soften. In its place: steadiness.

This course is ideal for…

This course is designed for soulpreneurs who have some financial ground under them and are actively building a business. You don't need to be thriving yet — but you're past the point of pure survival.

If you currently feel that you’re in financial crisis and need income ASAP, my free course Simple, Authentic Moneymaking is a much better starting point.

If, on the other hand, your finances are thriving and you’d like personalized guidance, private consultations are likely a better fit.

Somewhere in the middle, like many of us? This course is designed for you.

We’ll do this together:

You'll be working through the material alongside a group of kindred soulpreneurs — people who share your values and understand that building a business with integrity sometimes means building it more slowly, more gently, and more honestly than the mainstream advice suggests.

You'll support each other through the exercises, share what you're noticing, and if you’d like, find buddies to practice the exercises with. It feels empowering to do money work in the company of people who care about the same things you do!
